If you are having an event with 30+ people, how do you want to maximize your dollars spent? Accomodating that many people normally requires a contract. Determine your range that you are willing to spend, then call around and ask how many people the place can accomodate. Call at least 3 places. You will be surprised at the difference in cost of 3 quality places.
Determine when is the last day you must submit your head count for an event. The caterer must order food and beverages so 30%-40% is often needed upfront to pay for the order. Camarones does not require the upfront payment but does have a contract signed.
Ask lots of questions about the food. Will it be buffet style or with menus? If a buffet, will they replensh it or once empty will there be no refills? Camarones will refill the buffet constantly for a set amount of time, such as 2 hours.
